"Bowl, Baby, Bowl" is the eleventh episode of Season 4 of Ellen and the show's seventy-third episode overall. It originally aired on December 4, 1996 on ABC.
Plot[]
Ellen, Audrey, and Joe go out bowling with Ed, who gets angry after Ellen beats him at a game and begins taking it out on the rest of the staff. In an attempt to make up for his grouchiness, Ed takes Ellen out to dinner and a game of pool, which he wins, and Ellen becomes a sore loser herself. Finally, they decide to see who's the real winner by holding one last match: a one-on-one bowling game.
Meanwhile, Paige and Spence's plans to spend time alone together are constantly foiled as she's busy at her studio and he's busy with his new job as an E.R. doctor.
